NYPD Chief: Subway Attacker Discharged at Least 33 Rounds, Used Smoke Grenades and Hatchet

Officials say 10 people were shot and 13 more injured when gunman set off smoke bombs and started shooting on board a Brooklyn subway Tuesday morning.

It happened around 8:24 a.m. on a Manhattan-bound N train in Sunset Park.

The gunman fired 33 shots from a Glock 17 that jammed, preventing further injury, police said.
