CURTIS KNIGHT, DOWN IN THE VILLAGE (1970)

CURTIS KNIGHT (1929-1999) was born Mont Curtis McNear. An American musician and writer, he was closely associated with Jimi Hendrix, with whom he performed several times. Knight has written two books on this one; Starchild and Jimi: An intimate biography of Jimi Hendrix. Between 1973 and 1974, he also led the band Curtis Knight Zeus.
