Cane Creek Falls, SC -- 4K Cinematic

I went on this hike with some fellow hikers, Lindsay & Josh. It was on a very sunny and warm May morning. We set out down the gravel road, which turned into a small trail, then led to an even smaller deer trail. The path meandered around the Cane Creek along an old logging road most of the way. There was still evidence of the rail system used for logging. There were some creek walking portions, so if you are not that type or prefer to stay dry and clean, this may not be the hike for you. However, the views at the final falls of Cane Creek were amazing!

Disclaimer: This hike is NOT on a trail, it is a backcountry bushwhack. There is NO PROPER AIL. I would suggest you are able-bodied, fit, can read a map, have a good sense of direction, and go with a hiking buddy. This is only a short 4 mile RT, but it's through thick Rhodedendrums, trees, and other underbrush. There are several creek walk portions and even a steep climb up a small stone wall. This is a "know your limits" hike. THIS HIKE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. Also, bring a hiking rope to help get up some of the steeper ascents.
