CAOA CHERY TIGGO 5X PRO facelift with new cvt transmition with 1.5 Turbo engine with 150 hp INTERIOR

The Tiggo 5x, the best-selling SUV in the CAOA CHERY range in Brazil, receives a new update and is now sold exclusively in the PRO version. With this, the utility gains more technology, sophistication and changes in design. The novelties are part of CAOA CHERY's commitment to be always on the move and in continuous evolution, seeking to deliver to the national consumer products that are reference in Quality, Technology and Design.

Among the novelties of the Tiggo 5x PRO is the CVT transmission, which, together with a new version of the 1.5 Turbo Flex engine, brought performance gains to the vehicle and an even more comfort-focused drivability. In the design, the identity of the Tiggo 5x is still present with touches of more refinement and robustness. The interior has been extensively renovated and now features a new ergonomic package, a new 10.25" multimedia center, color digital panel, and a series of comfort, technology and safety items that transform the experience on board the Tiggo 5x PRO.

Produced nationally at the CAOA Montadora factory in Anápolis (GO), the model continues to have great internal space and dimensions. It is 4,338 mm long, 1,830 mm wide and 1,645 mm high. The wheelbase is 2,631 mm and the trunk is 340 liters. The entry and exit angles have improved due to the new design: 23.4° and 31.5°, respectively.

The Tiggo 5x PRO has gained even more personality thanks to new design elements. At the front, the grille with designs in the “Diamond” format, characteristic of the CAOA CHERY PRO line SUVs, made the look more imposing. The LED DRL lights also get a new style and chrome accents, which combine harmoniously with the completely renewed bumper. On the sides, the 18" wheels with an exclusive design for the Brazilian market add sophistication to the Tiggo 5x PRO.

Inside, the CAOA CHERY SUV draws attention for its high-level finish, with noble materials, premium coatings and a concern for quality and design. With a technology-inspired look, the interior has two large digital screens: a 10.25" touch-sensitive multimedia center with Android Auto and Apple Car Play, one of the largest in the segment, and a 7" instrument panel. The technological atmosphere is also present in the colored lights on the dashboard and doors, which can be configured with Eco/Sport driving modes or with the rhythm of the music, with seven color options.

Under the hood, the CAOA CHERY Tiggo 5x PRO brings a new version of the 1.5 Turbo Flex engine. The propeller, already consolidated in the national market, had improvements such as new electronic engine control systems, 'Flex Fuel' fuel injection and heating, turbine with electronic control of the Wastegate valve and electronic thermostatic valve. In addition to having undergone a new calibration carried out by the Brazilian engineering of CAOA CHERY to comply with the legislation of PROCONVE L7.

To work with the new version of the 1.5 Turbo Flex engine, the simulated 9-speed CVT gearbox arrives, another technology already consolidated in CAOA CHERY models. The new transmission of the Tiggo 5x PRO, as it is continuously variable, does not perform successive gear changes, which consequently makes driving more comfortable, agile and pleasant. In addition, the model now has a Joystick-type lever, more technological, sophisticated and that allows manual changes.

The new calibration of this set provided better performance figures in acceleration and recovery of up to 5% for the Tiggo 5x PRO, without any loss in consumption compared to the previous version. The maximum power remains 150 hp with ethanol and 147 hp with gasoline, as well as the maximum torque of 21.4 kgfm, available from 1,750 rpm to 4,000 rpm.
