What similarities do I see between today's "Wokeness" or "Critical Race Theory" in America and Mao's Cultural Revolution? Why am I worried for our children's future here in the US?

Condemning people for their birth or ancestry; making them hate themselves and their fellow citizens for what people in history did; installing constant shame and guilt in children's hearts and minds for simply being who they are; using all that hatred to achieve their own political agenda.

This "Cancel Culture", "Wokeness" may sound all cool and outrageous to some of the young people today. But it doesn't to me. To me, it sounds extremely familiar and cliché. And I have witnessed first-hand its actual outcome in reality.
