Hardly noticeable, but, Tolumnias have a rhizome and as they age, they tend to grow in one direction, all directions and to some degree, in the wrong direction 😅 Relocating the tolumnias that are growing their way out of their basket is a task that I knew I had to do at some point, but was apprehensive about doing. My Tolumnia set up is lava rock in a basket only, and the fine Tolumnia roots, with heavy lava rock can pose all sorts of problems. Still, it has been 4 years for some of my Tolumnias and I want to give it a go to center them back into their bastets.
