Why are women more intuitive than men?

We have heard this multiple times that women are more intuitive than men, but do you know the reason why?
Women generally tend to observe things around them more thus the things registered in their subconscious memory is much more than men.
It's not that men do not have a subconscious memory but due to the nature of being highly observant, women tend to be more intuitive.
