You mean to tell me, Tony the Tigers child is running around Houston Texas and they have the unmitigated gall to tell me I don't need a rifle. Forgive my cowardice, I'm not confronting a tiger with a handgun.

I've had enough drunk nights at home watching animal planet documentaries on Netflix to know all a Glock is going to do is piss that tiger off.

You think a handgun is going to stop a cat that can weigh anywhere from 220-660 pounds and can run 30-40 miles an hour?

If I knew there was a tiger running around my street like it's the jungle book and for some dumb reason I felt compelled to confront it, I'm not grabbing a handgun, I'm not even grabbing an AR15, I'm grabbing my SCAR-17 chambered in 308.

But hey, I get it, it's what he had at the moment and he did what he had to do.

The chances of any one of you needing a SCAR-17 to defend yourself against a tiger is less than 1%. I bet if you asked this guy the day before if he thought he'd be one of the less than 1% he'd laugh.

But here is the reality. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, almost every major study on defensive gun use has found that Americans use their firearms defensively between 500,000 and 3 million times each year.

So to all the people out there asking why anyone needs "That" for self-protection, stop asking this stupid question.

It's my life, I'm not tony the tiger over here, I don't get 9 of them, I only get one life, so I want the best thing possible to protect it.

If I feel this Scar 17 is going to do the best job of protecting my 1 life, then I'm going to have a scar-17.

If you wanna be sleepy Joe and protect your life with a shotgun, then "Buy A Shotgun".

If you don't feel the need to own a gun because you don't think it's necessary, cool, but in the event, you become one of the 500,000 to 3 million people who have to defend themselves each year, I hope there's someone with a gun there to defend you.
