Matt and Joy Thayer are the founders of Speropictures, who produce a range of entertainment which includes marketing & promotional videos, animation documentaries, short films, episodic television series, and feature films for pure audience enjoyment. They produced “Stronger Than Carr”, “The Trump I Know”, and “Lemonade”, and just released a new documentary called “ReAwakening”, which is based on the “ReAwaken America Tour” that is currently traveling around the United States. In the basement of their home in 2009, they gave themselves permission to be what they always knew they were, “Storytellers”. They realized they could go after their dreams. Storytellers have always been the center of human society, where people would sit around a campfire listening to elders tell stories. Their goal is always to entertain first, and then bring meaning to human experiences, needs, and desires. They pride themselves in using age-old visual storytelling techniques to make people want to watch. It is now 2022, and even though the world has changed, their mission to use stories to capture hearts and minds remains. They have traveled across the country, have been nominated for their work on an international television show, and their first feature-length film is available on major platforms. Their first film, “Lemonade”, has over 8 million views on YouTube, and they swept the awards at a film festival in California. They have created hundreds of jobs, and have won almost 3 dozen national & regional awards for their short films. documentaries, and corporate/commercial work.
