“Fat is where it’s at!”
That’s my new motto, like it?
It’s probably not a message that people are used to hearing...after all, we’ve been told over and over again that non-fat and low-fat is the “healthy” way to eat.
But, like many things we’ve been told relating to health, that’s simply not true! ❌
The fact is that our bodies NEED fat in order to function properly.
Not just any kind of fat will do, though - we need to ingest more “good” fats (like avocado, olive, coconut, and MCT oils) and less “bad” fats (typically man-made oils like vegetable and 🌽 oils, hydrogenated oils, etc.).
Bad fats drive inflammation and damage us at a cellular level, while good fats do the exact opposite - they keep our cells healthy!
