The New Mexico audit team that investigated the 2020 election in one county in the state is presenting their findings this evening.
The audit team identified that key election management system files for the November 3rd, 2020 general election were deleted in the Otero County Clerk’s Office while a full forensic audit was underway. This is a violation of NMSA 1-22-69 and federal law 52 USC 20701.
