How to Drive in Hail - Route 40 NC - 5/7/21

It was a crazy weather day & a long one at that but I had to just share what the KarahVan was subjected to on our trip back from my triple scopes in Chapel Hill today.

We had to pull over a few times when it looked (and sounded like) we were about to see a cracked windshield!

The NWS said “penny sized hail in (our) area” but I don’t know...looked a little bigger at some points!

We did have some amazing rainbows through it all though 🌈

We’ll be checking her over tomorrow as by the time we got home, it was raining and too dark. Hopefully, no holes! 😳🙏🏻
