The 5 Man Electrical Band and Boz Scaggs get after it today for the Segue City Special. The signs are all around us that everything is changing and yet it seems like nothing is changing... it depends on your point of view... kinda like that old Chinese proverb, "May you live in interesting times." But is it really interesting or just downright scary? We're just glad we don't have to take the subway to work...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
