Dan McLaughlin – The Battle for the SCOTUS

Dan recently authored a piece for National Review detailing the recent SCOTUS leak. While the leak discusses the rumination and thoughts of justices on the legality of abortion, there is another aspect of this situation that demands exploration. The presence of a leak pre-decision has to potential to dramatically undermine the highest court in the land.

A few questions offer enticing points to consider. 1. Do we want the SCOTUS process to be more open? 2. Does this lead increase the politicization of the court? 3. Does the lead degrade our confidence in the court and it's ability to render decisions based upon the law? 4. Should we expand the size of the court?
