We have a total cost so far of 6k for press release and 20k to hire the lobbying firm Compass Government Relations. The lobbyist we plan on using helped save the MD Vape industry and has a lot of influence. His name is Isaac Meyer.
We are in need of financial pledges from industry leaders to push back on this. So far we've raised almost $40,000. We have tons of more calls to make to other companies that would be devastated by this bill to ask for contributions. We will be using all funds for this cause. We will be buying ads in digital and print outlets and paying for additional lobbying efforts as well. All expenditures will be 100% transparent and will be shared with all contributors.
