Jacob Whitt on the Handpan (Pantam)

Jacob shared with me the sound of this extraordinarily beautiful and exquisitely crafted instrument. I’m afraid the recording can’t do justice to how this drum sounds live. There are moments where it felt like multiple different instruments - string and percussion were working in harmony.
