Well, while we're ensconced at the beach, the Mayor is hard at work with the weekend segues. Today's offering has Dan Hartman (who was with Edgar Winter 's group but out on his own here) and then Hall and Oates. It's another one of his segues that means something to somebody but we're not that somebody so we've been instructed to just go pound sand and build a sand castle or something...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
