Inspired by a comment in another video, I thought this video may be more helpful to show what I am trying to explain in the comments. Also, because it is possible that many have the same issues regarding any Maxillaria that comes into the house as a new acquisition. Nurseries can make it difficult to be successful at being successful with orchids because of some bad practices. In the case of #Maxillarias they have it 'easy' because their propagation methods make for a fast sale and we end up with unrooted cuttings that sometimes stand no chance of survival. So... I share my little tips and tricks, in case you find yourself in a similar situation. No more loosing a #Maxillaria because of how sellers sell cuttings to you! #HowtocareforMaxillaria #orchids
