So, I was asked to show more of the Golf R and this is me doing that very thing. I love to detail it, of course, which I am going to be correcting the paint & graphene coating it here soon. BUT I have accumulated some footage of my buddies & I all having fun with building the car. One thing at a time though! In this video, this is us doing our usual shenanigans and installing a catless downpipe from ARM Motorsports.

My birthday is on April 29th, and as a gift to me, my brother got me the downpipe. One Friday night, we all got together to install it. It QUICKLY WENT DOWN HILL. My brother & Friend did the work mostly because we had to use some "invasive maneuvers" for a lack of a better term.

You see, in order to install a downpipe on a 3rd Gen Golf R, you have to drop the drive shaft & subframe. BUT we didn't have the tool for the job (because we're just dumb) so, as it seems to happen naturally with us and car jobs, we grab the saw. In other words, a 2-3 hour job turned into a 7-8 hour job lol.

Either way, the downpipe is in and ALL IS WELL! I do plan on installing a high flow resonator so it doesn't sound so "ricey", other than that though, the first video for building the Golf R is in the books! I hope to share my experience with building my car with you guys, & I HOPE YOU ENJOY IT!
