Ætherial CQD: Scenario Training defending a standing knife attack

Our participants act out a scenario in which an assailant attacks with a weapon drawn from a head on position. Immediately coach Chris stuffs the attacking Knife hand and wraps while shucking with and undercook to change the stance and leverage of his opponent.

Shortly after I'm the exchange, in addressing the potential danger of the weapon, he is struck in the head, reminding us that the fight can take place anywhere.

As he recovers, he uses a great base and good footwork to dig back to a face-to-face position where he is able to recover control of the weapon and reestablish a dominant, defensive position.
