Jamming with Plums

This is the genesis of my plum jam:
I went to the local farm market to buy 1/2 bushel of fall apples to eat. And then I got distracted by the lovely purple plums. Italian plums. European plums. Prune plums (all the same thing--just different names). I had visions of sugar plums dancing through my head. I bought 5 pounds at $1.25/pound and then went back a couple of hours later and bought 11 more pounds (those videos to come...) Good thing the store is only 3.5 miles away!

It is the first time I've ever made plum jam and I am a fan. You would be, too--guaranteed!
