Heads will roll; Shreds will freeze

Lori Fiechter here with My Indiana Garden, August edition. :) I have not been keeping up with eating sauerkraut....yes, it's good for me, but I really only like it with bratwurst! I have some lovely heads of cabbage that will split and rot if I don't harvest them so...I read that cabbage can be frozen-just need to blanch it first. I gave it a whirl. Boy, did I make a mess again...
