As the Russian-German Nord Stream 2 pipeline nears completion, US desperation to stop it grows.

From poisoning one of Washington’s own proxies in Russia, to threatening sanctions against its own ally - Germany - to goading Kiev to start a war with Russia - US desperation now risks potentially triggering a deadly war on mainland Europe.

It is quite clear that the US - not Russia or “disobedient” allies in Western Europe - is the largest obstacle to global peace and stability.
