My big #vandas are -2 in the past 6 months, 1 was lost due to a puppy deciding it was a good chew toy for him, the other,.... well water! The effects of the global cooties make it impossible for me to tax my #reverseosmosis filters, so, I have had to resort to using well water for their tub. 150 litres / 40 gallons every week.... that is a lot of RO water and my filters would have to be changed a lot more. I have noticed a blackening of the velamen on the #roots and whatever is in my well water, it is making the roots stop functioning, resulting in the death of the orchid.
