The dominant ideologies of our contemporary age pose a certain idea about many people: One's identity or group status, the theory goes, can be used to discern how socially oppressed they are. This is the entire basis for Critical Race Theory, intersectionality, and it is what "social justice" supposedly seeks to rectify. A Youtuber named Jacob Michael reinforced this paradigm by using it to analyze a Reddit thread titled "I'm gay & I CAN'T STAND the LGBT community anymore." In a video titled: "RE: I'm gay & I CAN'T STAND the LGBT community anymore (A Reddit Thread) | Jacob Michael" Michael discusses at length his contention that LGBTQ folks are regularly victimized and how critiques of the victim mentality from conservatives gloss over that.

Mr. Watson delivers a full-throated, individualist response to Michael's contentions and demonstrates why LGBTQ people, in modern-day America, are far from victims for an assortment of reasons. He also wades into the trans debate and dissects recent legislation surrounding trans participation in sports, gender reassignment surgery, and so forth. He also critiques the idea of "gay rights" and "group identity" as qualifiers of the human being. He ultimately urges his audience to embrace their individuality and reason when confronting these ideas.
