We have been adopted by Christ

Ephesian 1:3-14
God believes we are valuable.
1:4-5 He chose us. Before the foundations of the world
Pre-chosen to be adopted
Everyone wants to be wanted

John 1:12
How do we become adopted

Gal 4:7
You are a son
Heir to the throne

You cannot become a child of God because you were born into it.
We have to make a choice
Being good doesn't make you a Christian. Can never be good enough.
Can't earn it.

Has to be a personal choice.
