MELTING ZINC TO MAKE COINS AND SHOTS / REMELTING THE SMALL LEAD INGOTS #backyardmelting

Hello everyone 👋🏻.

This week I melted some zinc brackets into coins. And I remelted the small lead ingots into one big ingot.

I got reactions that I was overcooking the zinc and lead so I tried to set the forge as low as I could. But I still got the zinc to hot😒. But it was better then my first time melting zinc😂. I think I didn’t get the lead to hot so that’s a plus😏.

The coins look great but the back looks a bit weird, does anyone knows why this is? Leave a comment 😉.
