The Haunting History of Tremont House: Indiana's Oldest Bar Est. 1850

Indiana's oldest continually operated bar/saloon/tavern ect. The Slippery Noodle Inn was first established as the Tremont House in 1850 and is on the National Register of Historic Buildings. This was one of the Dillinger Gang's hangouts. Here you will find bullet marks and even bullets embedded in the brickwork. Located at South Meridian St & South St. in downtown Indianapolis.
