In more than 50 years, the name Corolla, the best-selling vehicle in the world and leader of its category for six years in the country, hasbecome a reference of quality, durability and reliability, as it is a vehicle that reflects the taste and needs of its consumers around the globe. Now, Corolla writes a new chapter initstrajectory, in addition to the sedan it turns into an SUV, one of the fastest growing segments globally and also in Brazil.

For this, its conception took into account four important points:
• Urban robustness – strength and elegance define the design of the Corolla Cross. In it, customers sit in a top-class vehicle.
• Ample internal space - For the rear seats, a comfortable space has been created,especially in the head area. The large areas of the windows evoke an open and spacious feel, offering comfort to occupants even on long journeys. Inaddition, the doors have a wide opening angle, facilitating entry and exit. The 440L volume of the trunk allows you to take everything you need.
• Driveability and driving comfort – Thanks to the high height of the point of view(120 mm higher than the Corolla sedan) and the rear view mirrors mounted on the door panels, the occupants have awide angle ofvisibilidade worthy of an SUV. The GA-C platform, based on the TNGA philosophy, ensures comfort and safety, while the hybrid system offers onboard silence and fuel economy.
• Safety – Seven airbags and ad camera in all versions, in addition to the active safety system – Toyota Safety Sense – available in hybrid versions.

The Corolla Cross has two engine options: 2.0L Dynamic Force flex with 10-speed Direct Shift transmission and direct injection, and the renowned hybrid system that combines three engines, two electric and one flexfuel combustion, already available in the Corolla sedan, making the SUV the second hybrid vehicle capable of running with ethanol in the world.

To meet the needs of different types of audiences, the Corolla Cross will be available in four different versions and two engines.

The Corolla Cross with Dynamic Force 2.0L engine arrives in the XR and XRE versions, while the hybrid system will be available in the XRV Hybrid and XRX Hybrid versions.

In addition to these, to celebrate the arrival of this important product, Corolla Cross will havea special release edition called "Special Edition" based onthe top-of-the-line version, XRX Hybrid,and limited to 1,200 units.
The Corolla Cross is designed to convey the robustness and elegance of an authentic urban SUV and its design expresses these features. In this competitive segment, the designers made a point of creating a model that would attract attention wherever it goes, while at the same time it gave the occupants the feeling of being in a top-class vehicle.

The bumper has large creases, highlighting the robust character of the model, and where the horizontal-shaped headlights rest, which start from the side of the Corolla Cross until they find the frontuppergrille. In the input version, the headlights are halogen, while in other versions, LED. Hybrid versions, on the other, have a blue finish also in the headlights. In addition, the entire line has daytime running lights, The Daytime Running Lights - DRL.

All versions of the Corolla Cross have alloy wheels, and the XR is 17" finished in silver color and tires 215/60 R17, while the XRE and XRV Hybrid versions is 18" finished in dark gray and diamond. The top of the line, XRX Hybrid, has a black and diamond finish. In these three versions, the tires are 225/50 R18.
