This afternoon a pervert from Exeter failed to show up to a meet he had arranged with a 14-year-old girl following sexual grooming

So members of several paedophile hunting teams went to his flat to confront him over his online activity.

However, Luke Gallinari of Exeter refused to open the door to us and face up to his offending. Shouting through the letterbox, he made excuse after excuse, but he finally admitted it was indeed him that had contacted the young girls.

Overwhelming evidence against him meant he simply could not lie his way out of trouble. And after a while, he realised this.

As the hunters questioned drug dealer Gallinari, he proceeded to try and stab us with knives he pushed through the letter box and even poked an air rifle out.

The police were called and a large police presence arrived. With five squad cars, an ambulance and a riot van. Armed response also arrived to evaluate the situation.

After an hour of barricading himself into his flat, police finally arrested him.
