Morning Musings #78 - Feeling rejected by "God" through proxy via the Clergy. #religioustrauma

What is very seldom consciously realised with Religious Trauma, which is a subtle form of "rejection BY God"... is that it creates the ultimate Soul abandonment. The 'unconscious' Soul is impressed with "What a horrible creature must I be for God to reject me" (via those who represent God).

Many people who suffered this horrific soul trauma, feeling utterly victimised, STILL long to run into some arms of "acceptance" to try and overcome this psychological soul shock of "non-acceptance of self" - subsequently our mind will create a "God" suitable to this need. This leads to the ultimate form of "spiritual by-passing" in that we now do not need to RETURN "home" to our Soul... but have found a "surrogate" home. And thus our Soul remains sequestered, while our Ego enjoys a relationship with "God".
