You're My Best Friend When You Walk Into the Room

The Mayor opens up Saturday with Queen and Paul Carrick coming together for the Segue City Special all about someone being your best friend and lighting up the room when that person walks into a room. We guess that cuts down on the electric bill since you don't have to have on so many lights when that happens.

The Mayor of Segue City is happily ensconced in the studio and we're lost somewhere in the Forgotten Coast right now. We figure it won't be "lost" much longer with so many people wanting to move to Florida but we're enjoying it right now anyway... it seems like the Honey Capital of the country here...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
