We absolutely LOVE raising our own meat chickens! It has provided us with the highest quality meat we have had in our lives. Our entire family loves Chicken night at the house. However, these latest 6-9 week Cornish Cross growers have pushed the genetic code to the LIMIT! We are having far less success with these, than we did with the normal 8-10 week variant. Less intelligent and more prone to DEATH! We will not be purchasing these again.
