Good Friday update 4 2 21

Lori Fiechter here on a chilly, but sunny Good Friday. Here to update you on Stan's pepper and tomato seedlings--last weekend when the low temperature was 22 degrees, the electricity shut off in the shed. That has never happened before; the grow lights were plugged into the wrong kind of outlet (that's been fixed) but still, it was a first. The pepper seedlings had crumpled over and we thought that was the end for them! But Stan plugged in both heaters (which made the plants look even worse for awhile) to warm up the room. Shockingly, they have made pretty much a complete recovery! I guess if the garden survived being sprayed with herbicide last June, I shouldn't be surprised at their resiliency. Thankful, for sure.

That was a revival, but this weekend we celebrate an actually Resurrection! Happy Easter to all of my subscribers!
