The DUMBEST Esports Scam Yet

ECI (The Esports Certification Institute) has made a splash in the industry by inserting a paywall before one can "get a job", in a space that didn't actually require any sort of payment before. They claim "meritocracy, Diversity, and Inclusion" while contradicting themselves and crafting a gatekeeping barrier that only serves to HURT the gaming space, rather than help.

The industry does not need these people, and would be better served by their swift exit from the space. They may think that the product provides value, but more than likely this is yet another Esports scam, grift, or fraud. Whatever you want to call it.
