At the end of the horrors of the First
World War,
the number of cars in invader-raided Latvia was
quite insignificant - only six cars were operated
among civilians. In the mid 20s during the revival
of the global, and Latvian, economy, car
quantities significantly increased, and in the early
1930s the total amount of automobiles in the
country almost reached four thousand.
Automobile and motorcycle manufacturer
dealers, which began to emerge in Latvia in the
1920s contributed to this. The car had conquered
a stable position in societal life.
