Youtube and Twitch have coincidentally unveiled policy updates in the same timeframe that on one side, make it decidedly easier to mask and disguise malicious or fraudulent content, while on the other... drastically overreach in terms of platform policy enforcement.

These types of policies are not most immediately damaging in the short term, they will, however, drag down the ecosystem in the long term if implemented poorly.
