Masks and CO2 poisoning: New Study shows exact levels of CO2 intake

Study using latest technology called capnography to measure CO2 capture, published in MedRxiv, the preprint server for health sciences using 101 individuals in Italy. Levels of CO2 especially in the FFP2 masks rise to unhealthy levels within minutes. With the so called surgical masks, it takes a little longer. The study is in preprint, which means it is waiting the peer review process. It is professionally done with the latest technology for detecting actual intake of CO2 by humans, from the atmosphere. The numbers quoted relevant to safety and health are from OSHA, the workplace safety agency of the US government.
