Stop Being a "Good" Christian - Follow Jesus Instead

Recently i posted a video from a missionary to Muslim countries who was explaining how far American - Westernized Christianity is off its original intent. Then my pastor hit me with a real message from the Holy Spirit yesterday that i want to pass down to you guys. Jesus called us to stop what we are doing and follow him. Do not be a regular phew warming Christian but follow Jesus. Often we think discipleship is doing life side by side with people. But that is often in vein if people are not following Jesus. Jesus asked his disciples to follow him and they dropped their nets and follow him. This is a very basic idea but if followed it can produce revolutionary results. My Pastor dropped his career as a surgeon to follow Jesus. It got me to asking myself "Am I really following Jesus?". And i knew right away i could do a much better job of dropping my plans to follow Jesus. Now i challenge you to drop your plans and follow Jesus!
