KZN Floods

More devastation has hit the beachside town of Umdloti on the KZN North Coast following heavy downfall this weekend.
Atleast 14 residents had to be evacuated from a building that was compromised according to emergency workers.
In another apartment mud reached the ceiling, and residents up to the third floor had to be evacuated.
The town which was crippled by water shortages and infrastructure damage are currently in the midst of clean-up operations.
The KZN Premier Sihle Zikalala was expected to visit the town to assess damage.
