An interesting juxtaposition of the Atlanta Rhythm Section with Aretha Franklin doing a song Stevie Wonder had written for her and just like that, today's Segue City Special is ready to roll into the wide open spaces of Tuesday. We've already gotten past Monday so we'll take it easy today and like the ocean just let the tide roll in and then back out again... we have yet to figure out how you can have a tide in Tuscaloosa however...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
