Home Renovation Ready FOR SALE! | Introduction | 2021/020

I have recently been hired to perform some repairs as part of a home renovation that is going to be going on the market. The house overall is in pretty good condition, and the current homeowners have done some great work, they have just run out of steam and want to move on.

The kitchen needs a complete makeover. There isn't time or money for new cabinets or countertops. But the cabinets will get repaired and repainted and all the doors rehung with new hardware. New floors, paint and light fixtures will round out this portion of the project.

I will be framing and installing a closet with bi-fold doors and a simple shelf. The bedrooms had the closet removed to make the adjacent bathroom bigger.

Speaking of bathroom, its been mostly completed, but the shower will get new 12 x 24" tile on the shower surround to finish it.

There was significant damage to the back wall of the garage from a poorly installed dryer vent. So, the wall and door will have to be repaired/reframed, and the exterior sided, and the inside with new drywall and paint.

Finally a new fence will be installed in the back yard, the fence blew down in one of our frequent windstorms, the yard will get a makeover as well, mowed, trimmed, etc.
