EVO 16 by Audient - This thing is SWEEET🔥 (Overview)

Quick overview of the new EVO 16 audio interface from Audient. The EVO 16 is a 24in/24out USB-C audio interface that is LOADED with features for a crazy low price.

The EVO 16 has 8 mic/line preamps, and the two on the front can be switched to Instrument level for guitar and bass.

It has 8 line outputs, so connecting multiple monitors or routing audio out to external gear is no problem.

There are two independent headphone outputs.

It also has 2 Optical inputs and outputs (and Wordclock) so you can expand your I/O by up to 16 more inputs and outputs.

Loopback is included! Easily record computer audio into your DAW, or livestream with your DAW audio using OBS or similar streaming/screen recording apps.

Like the other EVO Interfaces (Evo 4, and Evo 8) the Evo 16 also has Smartgain across all 8 channels. With Smartgain, you can let the interface set your input gain for you, automatically, and to proper levels.

With the Function Button you easily do things like switch speakers, check your mix in Mono, Dim, or activate Talkback.

To easily see your inputs levels, volume, meters, gain, and various other controls, Audient installed a hi-res screen right in the interface. The MOTION UI screen is clear and readable from all directions, in the dark or light, and from across the room. It's a great addition 👍

There's also a full mixer app included to setup routing and monitoring levels. Plus, you can use the app to adjust gain, turn ON/OFF Phantom Power, set the Function Button, etc... if you don't want to do it directly from the interface itself.

The EVO 16 is loaded with pro features at a really crazy price. I've spent way more in the past for way less features and I/O. I wish something like this existed 15 years ago when I got into audio.

Back then you had to spend thousands to get less than half of what you get with the EVO 16. It's definitely worth checking out if you are looking for an audio interface. I don't think anything else out there can match the features and I/O for the price.
