RULES:
The object of the game is to be the first player to get your King to the opposite side of the board. Layout the board and arrange the pieces on the same side like shown. White goes first, then turns alternate. On your turn you must move 1 piece, then your opponent goes. All pieces have their normal chess movements, except Kings may never be in check. You may not move a piece to check your opponent’s king and you may not capture a piece if it results in check. Kings are still not allowed to move into check, so any threaten spaces will prevent your king from advancing to them.

The first player to get their king to the 8th row wins. However, to accommodate for white’s first turn advantage, if black is able to get their king to the 8th rank immediately after white does, then the game ends in a draw.
