Creating Willie Mays Mlb The Show 22

William Howard Mays Jr. was born in Westfield, Alabama, on May 6, 1931, the son of a steelworker who played center field for the local Birmingham Industrial League semi-pro (a professional baseball league that is not affiliated with Major League Baseball). Willie Mays' mother, Ann, was a high school track standout, and it was evident from a young age that he had inherited his parents' athletic abilities. Willie Mays learned to walk at the age of six months, according to his father, William Howard Mays Sr., and the two center fielders were soon playing catch with each other, father teaching son the fundamentals of the game that would one day make him famous.
