Corporate Media Flip Flops on Mask Mandates in Schools

Corporate media totally dissed on Republican Governor Glen Younkin for lifting the mask mandates in Virginia – but when Democrat governors started doing the same thing – the media reported on it TOTALLY differently. CBS Morning News Reporter: “As cases have plummeted and more Americans grow exhausted with the pandemic, lifting some of these mask mandates has been welcomed by many with a sigh of relief. More and more parents across the country in places where mask mandates remain in effect in schools, are arguing now is the time to finally take those masks off.

Now contrast that with how a CBS affiliate in Virginia covered Governor Glen Younkin’s lifting of mask mandates.

CBS News affiliate anchor: We are going to fact check Governor Youngkin’s claims he made when he lifted the mask mandate.

CBS news affiliate reporter: so, the CDC still says that masks are effective at stopping the spread of the virus.

This is a total joke and it’s why it’s so few Americans trust corporate media!
