Sen. Paul Drops the Hammer on Rep. Omar

Kentucky Senator Rand Paul unloads on far-left Representative Ilhan Omar. With today’s Americans for Limited Government Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. Paul called Omar out for her non-stop attacks on America and reminded her that America welcomed her with open arms when her family fled Somalia as refugees.

“And then I hear Representative Omar say, ‘America is a terrible place. There’s no justice here.’ Well, she came here, we fed her, we clothed her, she got welfare. She got school, she got healthcare, and then lo and behold, she has the honor of actually winning a seat in Congress and she says we are a terrible country? I think that is about as ungrateful as you can get, I’m not saying we forcibly send anyone anywhere, but I am willing to help contribute to buy her a ticket to go visit Somalia.”
Meanwhile, Omar’s bill to require the State Department to monitor ‘Islamophobia’ moved forward in the House. It is a spurious concept designed to inhibit criticism of jihad terror that could soon be funded by your tax dollars.
