Uvalde, Texas School Shooting/ Open Panel Discussion

18 yrs old w/ a recent purchase of an AR-15 and a backpack full of ammo,
shoots his grandmother at point blank range then continues his rampage into an elementary school and kills 19 children and another adult before being shot down by a border patrol officer. Are the gun laws to blame? or is this just an unfortunate incident that is normal in today's social climate? Is this a political issue or not?
