Our water levels have dropped despite constant rain. People are trying to drop off supplies today

The flood has been declared a disaster in our state.
Despite raining non-stop our flood levels have dropped and that is a relief. The weather forecast is looking good after today.
Every time I walk outside I come in with leeches on me. It's making my skin crawl.
I have people in our local community attempting to drop off petrol and horse feed for me today. An awesome community of locals. Without petrol I have not way of communicating with the outside world.
There is a way to get to some local shops and a petrol station, but I cannot get out of my actual road, it's been damaged so badly. I'm hoping I can get out when it dries up more. I don't want to get bogged. The people trying to come here today are familiar with the road and the damage to the road can be seen from the main street it comes off, so people are wary, which is good.
