Arthur admits he was always worried about finding love due to his 'plump size' but after meeting and marrying Luana he was inspired to drop nearly five stone and gained his confidence back. At this point, the married couple started introducing more partners to their now poly lifestyle. Since sharing their story with the world they have received negative judgment from every angle with people saying their lifestyle is “disgusting” - but remain confident in their decision and choose to ignore the trolls and focus on their own happiness. Arthur said: “To remember their names for a while was difficult but not now. These days I fight for a cause and many admire the courage I have to confront society and live the life I always dreamt of. The main consequence of this lifestyle is being excluded from society, because it’s hard to make friends, especially when you have this status and image. But we never cared for friendship. We always lived for each other, always. Since the beginning of the relationship we always thought that we don’t need other people to be happy. That’s why we never listened to other people, we chose to live the life we always wanted.”
